William "Bill" Bonney of Brook Park died on Sunday, December 8, 2024.  He was 70 years old.

William Dennis Bonney was born on September 8,1954 in St. Paul, MN, to Fredrick and Catherine (Leach) Bonney. Bill graduated from Central High School in St. Paul, MN in 1972.

Bill had various jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, going to live concerts, sharing his love of music with others. Seriously do not try to beat him in classic rock trivia. Bill enjoyed picking with his son Josh, they may have trespassed a time or two. He loved talking music with his son Jeremiah. Bill met his wife Millicent while working at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN. He married Millicent (Montgomery) Bonney on September 6, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fredrick and Catherine Bonney; sisters Mary Kay Bonney and Marylee Fries.

William is survived by his wife Millicent (Montgomery) Bonney, sons, Jeremiah (Amber Lang) Bonney of Wahkon, MN, Josh (Angela) Bonney of Mora, MN; grandchildren, Lexi (Zander Church) Bonney of Brainerd, MN, William Bonney of Brainerd, MN, Lorrin (Abby Treiber) James of Ogilvie, MN, Lazarus (Kaleigh Rea Tober) James of Mora, MN, Lacey (Zach Golden) James of Mora, MN; great grandchildren Clyde, Daniel, Devyn, Taylor, John, Carter, and Cade, Sister Roberta Bonney ( Horst Falger ) Brother James Bonney ( Diane ) Sister Joan Bonney Trulsen ( Bill ) and 6 nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 until 5 P.M. on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora.
