Tom Brian Stafne, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, has passed away after a short battle with cancer. Tom was born on November 26, 1959, in St. Croix, WI, and moved back and forth between Minnesota and Florida throughout his childhood. He obtained his High School Diploma and furthered his education at Pine Technical College for Mechanics.

On November 14, 1987, Tom married the love of his life, Amy Stafne, and they settled in Hinckley, Minnesota, where they shared many happy years together. Tom worked as a field supervisor for an underground utility company, specializing in gas and phone services.

When he wasn't working, Tom enjoyed his hobbies, which included fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and tinkering with old cars. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends at BBQs and get-togethers, sharing stories and laughter.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Adeline Stafne, as well as his siblings: Linda Hawkinson, Gary Stafne, and John Stafne, sister-in-law Kay Stafne, brother-in-law Gordon Nelson, mother in law, Judith Nelson and niece Jennifer Stafne.

He is survived by his wife Amy Stafne, children Amy Smith, Corey (Cheryl) Stafne, and Cole Stafne, grandchildren, Brandon and Adrianna Stafne, Courtney Brower, Tara Stewart, Braxton Hudgins and great grandchildren, brothers; Gerald (Nancy) Stafne, Ray (Cheryl) Stafne, sister, Carol (John) Ohlinger, brother in law. Patrick Nelson, sisters in law, Sheila Stafne, Julie Thayer, and Dawn Stafne, and many nieces and nephews and friends.
