It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Gene Swedeen, of Hinckley, Minnesota, age 62, on June 13, 2025. Born on June 17, 1962, in Anoka, MN, Terry spent most of his life in the community of Hinckley, where he made countless memories since moving there in 1990.

Terry was a man who truly lived life to the fullest. From racing cars and riding dirt bikes to tearing up the snow on his snowmobiles, he had a passion for adventure and a love for the great outdoors. Whether he was hiking scenic trails or casting a line on a peaceful lake, Terry cherished every moment spent in nature.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Christine Swedeen, and his sister, Ann Swedeen.

Terry married the love of his life, Rose Marie Johnson, on September 12, 1980, after first meeting in 1976. Their bond was unbreakable, and they were each other's best friends, navigating life as a team. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their son Jeremiah (Stephanie) Swedeen and step-grandson Steven of Carlton, MN, and their daughter Katie (Brent) Knutson and granddaughter Zoe of Hinckley, MN. He is also survived by his nephew Trevis (Tina) Swedeen and their family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
