Stacy Ann Welcher died on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home in Hinckley, MN.  She was 54 years old.

Stacy was born in Duluth, Minnesota on March 26, 1971 to Willard and Sybil Welcher.

Stacy attended Hinckley/Finlayson High School where she excelled in Cross Country Running and Basketball.  Stacy loved competitive sports.  After high school, Stacy majored in Criminal Justice and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1994.  After graduation she worked as a Correctional Officer at the Lino Lakes Prison.

Everyone who knew Stacy knew how much she loved her animals, watching the Vikings, exercising, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Stacy was passionate about physical exercise/personal training, she loved working at the family-owned Cassidy's Restaurant, and she loved to cook.  Stacy loved to share her cooking with others.

Stacy had a soft spot for her furry friends, treating each and every one like the valuable family member they were.  Stacy will be greatly missed by her four dogs: Gracie, Lil T, Pearl, and Lil Syb. Stacy also was dedicated to helping others, she got her dogs registered as therapy dogs and was taking them to spend time with the residents at two local nursing homes weekly.

Stacy was an active member of her church, devoting time and energy to First Presbyterian Church in Hinckley.  Recently she had been helping in building a food pantry at the Community Worship Center of Sandstone.

Stacy will always be remembered for her kindness, gentleness, generosity, and her beautiful fun-loving spirit.

Stacy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many, she will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Sybil Welcher, and nephew Logan Deming.

Stacy is survived by her siblings, Shawn Welcher, and Wendy (Tom) Deming, nephews Greg ( Amy) Welcher, and Noah Welcher.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Community Worship Center in Sandstone.  Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 at the church.
