Sherry Lynn Iaquinto, born in Minneapolis, MN on May 3, 1959, to her loving parents Norman and Genevieve Sand, sadly passed away on July 30, 2024, in Onamia, MN where she resided with her husband John Iaquinto.
After marrying her soulmate John on February 27, 1976, they settled in Princeton, MN, eventually making their home in the Mille Lacs area for the last 38 years. Together, they raised six children, creating a beautiful family that she cherished deeply.
Sherry was known for her culinary talents, working as a cook and bartender at local spots such as Purple Doors and Bayview. Off-duty, she found joy in tending her garden, watching birds, camping, and sharing picnics with loved ones.
A devoted family woman, Sherry found utmost happiness in spending time with her family and catching up with friends. Her warm smile and kind-hearted nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents and mother-in-law Glorian Iaquinto, father-in-law Raymond Iaquinto, brother-in-law Steven Iaquinto, sister Julie Reimann, sons-in-law, Brandon Misquadace and Wesley Misquadace, nephew Troy Reimann, grandsons; Cody Stark and Nathan Strelow.
Sherry is survived by her parents Norman and Genevieve Sand, husband John Iaquinto, son Patrick (Letha) Sam, daughters; Gina (Lucas) Erickson, Dawn (Jay) Iaquinto, Kristy Iaquinto, Stacie (Seth) Misquadace, Melissa (Dean) Reynolds, sisters; Carrie (Todd) Leadens, Jamie (Steve) John, brothers; Paul Sand, Norman Sand, Steven Sand, 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, honorary daughter Tina Belden, many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law.
Funeral Services will be held at the Tullibee Tavern in Wahkon, Minnesota on Sunday, August 11, at 2:00PM with Pastor Dale Leehy officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
