Sharon Barbara Forshier, went home to be with Jesus on May 10, 2026. Sharon, a longtime resident of Mora, Minnesota, was born on January 31, 1939, and lived a full life filled with love and joy.
A proud graduate of Mora High School in 1957, Sharon married her soulmate, Lee Forshier, later that same year, and the two shared an incredible 68 years of marriage until Lee's passing. Together, they dedicated over five decades to serving as co-fire wardens in Peace Township, a role they cherished dearly.
Sharon spent 32 years working in the finishing department, first at Amaco and later at EPC, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. Her colorful personality shone through her passion for all things purple, her love of decorating, and her knack for creating beautiful floral bouquets. She was also an avid collector, with a remarkable collection of over 1,000 blown glass swans and vases, as well as a talent for finding hidden treasures at garage sales.
She is survived by her daughters; Cheerie (Kirby) Olson, Penny Bratland, grandchildren, Kam (Nick) Schroeder, Dusty Olson, Kris Paech, RaeLynn Gottchalk (Travis), Lee (Stephanie) Paech, great grandchildren, Archer Schroeder, Honor Schroeder, Erin Olson, Oscar Olson, Austin Paech, Mariah Guetzkow, Tucker Lyon, Hilltina Gottchalk, Stella Gottchalk, Cruz Gottchalk, Rosalynn Gottchalk, Carter Paech, Riley Paech, and AvaRose Paech.
She is now reunited peacefully with her parents, Ray and Freida Crabtree, her brother Vernon Crabtree, and her beloved husband, Lee.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 10:00AM at Whispering Hope Church in Brook Park, Minnesota.
