Scot Ben Cervenka, age 58, of Askov, MN formerly of New Prague passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2021.

Scot was born on September 17, 1963, to Benjamin and Dorothy (Preslicka) Cervenka in New Prague, MN, where he lived until August of 1991. He attended New Prague Schools (K-12) and went on to attend Fairbault Area Technical Institute, specializing in marine and small engines. From there Scot attended Dakota Area Technical Institute completing his certification in heavy equipment mechanics. Scot wanted to put his knowledge to work and opened his own business, Allis Chalmers Sales and Services. On June 16, 1989, Scot married the love of his life Lori Ann Hrabe at St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Patrick, MN. In August of 1991, Scot and Lori made the move to Askov, MN where they lived until Scot's death. Scot enjoyed spending time in church and sharing God's love with everyone! He had a passion for hunting throughout his life and passed it down to his children. Scot also shared his passion and knowledge of hunting with all others. He loved taking his wife fishing every chance he had. Scot enjoyed trap shooting and anything that involved guns. Vintage snowmobiles and riding them was another one of Scot's many hobbies. One of the top things that Scot enjoyed was taking his wife out for date night in his 54 Chevy pickup.

Scot is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Dorothy, his father-in-law, Albert Hrabe, and many aunts and uncles.

Scot is survived by his wife, Lori Cervenka (Hrabe) of Askov, MN; his son, Benjamin Cervenka of Askov, MN; his daughters, Sonya (Ricky) Koerner of Mora, MN, Casey (Jordan) Sprouls of Askov, MN, Hannah Cervenka of Askov, MN; brother, Brian Cervenka of Jordan, MN; sister, Sherry Cervenka of Farmington, MN; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Simek of New Prague, MN; many brother in laws, sister in laws, nephews, and nieces.

A Celebration of Life is being held for Scot at the Church of Victory in Askov, MN from 12 pm to 5 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021.
