Sandi Koland was born on December 10, 1952, to two amazing parents. She was the third child of four siblings. Her life started in Arden Hills, MN then led her to follow many roads and go on many extraordinary adventures. When she settled down, she had four children who she loved more then anything. All that love led to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a sister, a mother, an aunt, and a grandmother, but most importantly she was Sandy, a beautiful woman, full of love and spunk. At the end of her life, she wanted to come home to be surrounded by the people she loved the most. She passed leaving behind children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins, because even though it was heart breaking for her to go as she always said, “it is what it is” saying goodbye November 1, 2026.

A Day of Remembrance will be held to honor Sandi on December 5, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm at her son’s home in Sandstone, MN.
