Ryan Knowler, of Mora, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  He was 49 years old.

Ryan was born on August 18, 1976 in Pensacola Florida to John and Gloria Knowler.  During his childhood Ryan's parents moved him and his siblings from Florida to Minnesota.

Ryan graduated from Mora High School and later went on to trade school. He spent his young adult life building prisons in Pennsylvania.

In 2019 Ryan began his dream job at Ivory North Wedding Venue in Mora MN. There he worked with and became good friends with the owners Blake and April.  He absolutely loved working with all the brides and grooms, often transporting them from the venue to local hotels. He affectionately became known as Mr. Ryan.

Ryan is preceded in death by his mother Gloria.

He is survived by his dad John (Linda) of Florida. Wife Hayley, Mora MN, son Jonathon of Brainerd MN and daughter Alee, Mora, MN. Brothers, Travis, Ogilvie MN. Jason (Vicki) Danbury WI, and sister Kristy (Joe) of Fargo ND.

Honorary pallbearers include Blake and April Johnson, Tim and Christie Koran, and Bill, Sue, and Jessie Masurka, along with his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Russ Johnson. We also recognize his many cousins and friends who have been there for him, especially those who stood beside him throughout the incredibly difficult journey he faced.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 6:00PM at Dresser Methven Funeral Home in Mora, Minnesota.  There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
