Roy Anderson, of Harris, Minnesota, passed away on April 18, 2022 in Wyoming, Minnesota.  He was 98 years old.

Roy was born in Wayzata, Minnesota on December 16, 1923.  He was the 8 ^th child of Andrew and Anna (Hansen) Anderson.  He attended District #34 in Anoka County until the 8 ^th grade.

He married Lonetta Volker April 8, 1950 at the Joyce Chapel.  He was a welder at NorthStar Concrete for 17 years and a farmer all his life.

Roy loved to garden and grew amazing vegetables.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lonetta.

Roy is survived by his children, Barb (Mike) Palmateer of Harris, MN, Bev (David) Meyers of Eagan, MN, Randy (Patricia) Anderson of Pennville, IN, three granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Methven Funeral Home in Sandstone, Minnesota, on Friday April 22, 2022 at 1:00PM with Pastor Kate Mensing officiating.  Burial will take place at Victor Hill Cemetery following the service.
