Robert Everett Sostak, 87, of Askov passed away June 14, 2025, at Elderwood Assisted Living in Hinckley. Robert (Bob) had an accident last fall from which he never really recovered. Bob was born in Willow River on June 12, 1938, to Jerry and Albina (Prachar) Sostak. He graduated from Askov High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna, to which four children were born. Bob was well known in the community. First as a Dairy farmer. Later in life as an owner in Finlayson Ag Center.

Bob is survived by one son, Greg (Gina); two daughters, Sandi (Bob Bauer), Diane (Dave) Schueck; one son-in-law, Tom Headman; eight grandsons, Jason, Brent, Steven, Mike, Tom, Kyle, Josh, Brock; two granddaughters, Casey and Ashley; six great-grandsons, Tristan, Marcus,Josiah, Otis, Lewey, Thomas Jr.; two great-granddaughters, Tiffany; Victoria, one great-great-grandson, Xander; one great-great-granddaughter, Ayra; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Breiland, Louise (Gary) Jacobs; two brothers-in-law, Michael (Teresa) Sizen, Stanley (Vicki) Sizen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, his daughter, Debra Headman, his parents, his brother, Gerald Sostak, sister, Jan Sostak, brothers-in-law Richard Breiland and Marvin Breiland, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Ione Sostak and Clarrisa Breiland.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Friday June 27, 2025 at the Methven Funeral Home chapel in Sandstone, MN. Visitation will be held at the chapel from 1pm to 3pm prior to the service.
