Obituary

Robert F. Reynolds died on March 4, 2024 at his home in Isle.  He was 80 years old.

Bob was born in Pipestone, MN on March 22, 1943.  When he was 12 his parents moved to a farm in Verdi, MN where they continued to farm until he graduated from high school.  After graduation he attended the University of Minnesota for one year.  During the summer of 1962 he took a job with his uncle, Gene Eggen and worked as a brick laborer for two years.  Bob became a bricklayer in 1964 and was a proud member of the BAC-L No1.

Bob met his future wife, Sandra at a dance at Fish Lake Resort in Mora, MN in January of 1963.  They were united in marriage in February of 1964 and had three children.  The most important thing to Bob was his loving wife, Sandra as well as his children, grandchildren and great-grandson.

In 1968 Bob and Sandra built their first brick home in Andover, MN and lived there for five years before moving to Mora.  Their three children graduated from Mora High School.  After living in Mora for 25 years Bob retired at the age of 58 and bought a home on Mille Lacs Lake.

He loved fishing, gardening, and talking to his friends and neighbors.  He always had a story to tell.

Bob fought a long, hard battle with cancer and is now in the loving arms of our dear Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his children Shelley (fiancé Ron Johnson) Reynolds Moss, Angie (David) Dwyer and Rob Reynolds; his brothers and sister, Randy (Carol) Reynolds, Richard (Mary) Reynolds, Becky (Jay) Fladebo, grandchildren; Heather (Ben) Guenther, Ryan ( fiancé Kassie) Moss, Jacob Dwyer, Trenton Dwyer, and Mikayla Dwyer, great-grandchild, Benjamin Guenther, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
