Renee Lynn Eiffler was born on November 23, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN to Chester and Darlene Johnson. Renee grew up and attended high school in Sandstone, MN graduating in 1978 with Salutatorian Honors.  She then graduated with Honors from the Minnesota School of Business in Business Management. She spent 30 years working in public school finance for both East Central Public Schools and Carlton Public School until her retirement in September 2019. Renee enjoyed golfing, camping, and traveling with her husband and friends.

Renee experienced her first symptoms of ALS in February of 2021, and was diagnosed in July. She lost her battle with the incurable disease on October 16, 2021 in her home. She is preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Eddie Eiffler, daughter Katie (James) Kozlowski and grandson Edison Kozlowski, sisters Donna (Steve) Orstad of Sandstone, MN, Cindy (Steve) Ketcher of Maple Grove, and Linda (Denny) Vork, of Sandstone, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held for Renee on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sandstone Area Golf Course, located at 343 Lark Street, Sandstone, MN.
