Ralph Arnold Lick of Mora, MN, died on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Milaca Elim Meadows Care Center. Ralph was 81 years old.

Ralph was born on December 5, 1941, in Breckenridge, MN, to Leo and Rosella (Lackey) Lick. He grew up in Rosholt, SD, and was a graduate of the Class of 1960. He served in the Navy from 1962 to 1965 and was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran.

Ralph married LaVonne Bruss on August 19, 1967, at Resurrection Catholic Church, Minneapolis, MN. LaVonne passed away when their sons, Ryan and Robin, were 9 and 7 years old. Ralph married Kathy (Pendergrass) Strunge on October 28, 1978, at Holden Lutheran Church, Isle, MN. Kathy and her two sons, Tom and Paul, joined Ralph's family to create a family of six. Ralph and Kathy have been married 44 years.

Ralph worked at MacPherson Towne Co. restoring brick and stone until he started farming full time in 1978. Ralph and his family moved from rural McGrath to Mora in 1981. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, and winter vacations, but, he loved farming. He also enjoyed many lively conversations with fellow farmers, friends and neighbors in his "milk house". Oh the stories....... He loved his family and knew he was blessed to have them close.

Ralph was preceded in death by his first wife, LaVonne, his parents, his brothers, Leo, Jr. (Sonny) and Jim, and his sister, Ramona Mundt.

He was survived by his wife Kathy Lick, his sister, Marian Byram, of Stillwater, MN; sons, Ryan (Leah) Lick and Robin Lick of Mora, Tom (Delene) Strunge, of Princeton, MN, Paul (Jennifer) Strunge, of Ogilvie, MN; Grandkids Austin Lick, Hayley, Morgan and Danny Strunge, Shelby Rogers, Kaylie Waters, Barrett Strunge, Madison (Ryan) Gunderson, and Brody Halvorson, Great Grandkids Charlotte Strunge, Elena Strunge, Logan and Mason Rogers and Lucy Waters, nieces and nephews, and many other family members.

Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home, Mora, MN.
