Ralph Dean Hackbarth, of Chisago City, MN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at M Health Fairview in Wyoming, MN surrounded by his family. He was 73 years old.

Ralph was born on December 31, 1951, to Otto and Betty (Webster) Hackbarth in Waterloo, Iowa. He spent his early years in in Dallas, TX and Sandstone, MN. Ralph had a lifelong career as a truck driver but also managed American Warehouse for some time while living in Aurora, CO. Before his retirement he worked at Louma Egg Ranch for about 20 years, while him and his family lived in Rutledge, MN.

Ralph graduated from Sandstone High School and served in the National Guard for a decade. He furthered his skills by attending Pine Technical College, where he studied welding.

On June 16, 2001, he married the love of his life, Kim Hackbarth, in a beautiful ceremony in Colorado Springs, CO. Ralph often enjoying his time working on tractors, hunting, fishing, and hitting the snowmobiling trails.

Ralph is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Otto and Betty. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kim, his cherished daughter Shelby, his sister Nancy, nephew Dylan, and many cousins who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held to honor Ralph's life on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 5 PM at the Methven Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Kate Mensing officiating. Friends and family are welcome to visit from 4:30 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home before the service.
