Peter Roy McAuley, age 80, of Bruno, passed away on November 24, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Peter was born in Springfield, CT on August 31, 1941 to Elizabeth Barsaleau and Norman McAuley.  His childhood was spent in a variety of places in Connecticut and Florida.

After serving in the military, Peter lived and worked in California as an animal trainer for many different companies.  He trained dogs, horses, tigers, and cougars.  Some of the animals he worked with appeared on television shows and in movies.  He also spent 28 years raising Doberman Pinschers.

For the past 25 years, Peter has lived in various parts of Minnesota and Texas.  While Peter enjoyed people, he was most content spending time alone with one of his dogs by his side.

Peter trusted completely in the grace and mercy of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the eternal power of the cross. His friends rejoice that the things he saw dimly yesterday, he now sees clearly, and the things he knew in part, he now knows in full.
