Pauline M Koran of Mora MN, died peacefully at her home on May 5, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN to Paul and Ruby Holmes, the youngest of 8 children.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, their son Troy, and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children Tammy Suchy (Daniel), Terri Stone (Douglas), Tim (Christie) and daughter in law Colleen Koran.
She had 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Mom and dad met while working at Quality Park Products. They raised their children in St Paul, MN.  She worked at Como Park High School in the cafeteria.  They bought a trailer and parked it at Fish Lake campground.  They enjoyed their weekends there so much that they bought a house on the lake.  After moving to Mora, she worked at Hardees for many years baking their biscuits for the day.

She was an active member of St Mary's Catholic Church.  She enjoyed baking for different events and was also a cook for the CCD classes.

She also volunteered at the Villa (St Claire's) in Mora playing bingo with the residents.  The residents enjoyed the hand-crafted prizes that she made.  Up until her death, she still got together for lunch with the other volunteers she made friends with there.

She did many crafts including making hats.  She donated them to schools, a shelter and anyone that needed or wanted a warm winter hat.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mora, Minnesota with Father Timothy Gapinski officiating.  There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
