Paul Kent Campbell, passed away peacefully at his home in Sandstone, MN on August 21, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 1, 1944, in Lake City, MN, he was the son of Edward and Susan (Kenner) Campbell.

Paul was a proud graduate of St. Paul High School, Class of 1962, and he served his country proudly in the United States Marines. After returning home and being honorably discharged, he pursued a career in electronics at Dunwoody, ultimately finding his long-term calling with the railroad starting in 1973. It was there that he met the love of his life, Patty, and they married on January 20, 1996.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Paul loved fishing, hunting, shooting trap, and he enjoyed every moment spent with friends. He was an active member of a pool league, where many fond memories were made over games and camaraderie.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Susan, his grandparents, and his sister, Candy. He is survived by his wife, Patty, his son, Angus, and his brother, Bill.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held to honor Paul from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Methven Funeral Home chapel. Burial will take place at Spring Park Cemetery with military honors, following the gathering.
