Obituary

Patsy Lee Eiffler, age 79, of Hinckley, MN passed away on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Pat was raised on the family farm four miles west of Friesland. This was her home for the majority of her life. Pat devoted her life to her family and friends, especially after the passing of her dad. She was only 18 years old and remained living and supporting her mother for the remainder of her life here on earth. Pat graduated from Hinckley High School, then for a short time after her dad's passing, Pat and Grandma Susie (Pat's mother) moved to the Twin Cities to seek employment and a better wage for about 4 years. They then moved back to the farm and Pat became employed at a local factory for the duration of her working years.

It was Pat's nature to always make sure everyone else around her was taken care of, including family, friends and neighbors. Although Pat never had children of her own, she was very actively involved with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephew's lives. She attended birthday parties, confirmations, weddings, dance recitals and school programs as often as she could. She lived a life of independence. Her strong will allowed her to continue to care for herself and live in her home until her passing.

Pat's life was not without tragedy. She lived through two major family house fires and was the last of the siblings to pass away. Throughout her 79 years, she endured losing both her parents, all her siblings as well as many nieces and nephews. Her resilience was a characteristic that defined her and was admirable.

She was an active member of the Friesland Cemetery organization and enjoyed the planning and tasks of that role. She now is in peace and resting there with the rest of her loved ones.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Susan Eiffler, brothers, Harold, Louie, Bob, Dale, Edward, Dennis and Danny. Her sisters, Delores, Doris and Luella. Pat is survived by her sisters-in-law's, Linda Eiffler and Marlene Eiffler as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends who were dear to her heart. Pat will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

A private family graveside service was held earlier in December at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Friesland, MN.
