Pamela (Pam) Lee Small, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on April 30, 1960, to Leonard and Eleanor (Dobosenski) Jurek in Columbia Heights, MN, Pam spent her early years in Columbia Heights, where she made countless memories, before fulfilling her dream of moving to her dream home in Sandstone during October of 2022.

On February 25, 1984, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Small, and together they built a warm and loving home filled with laughter and joy. For 27 years, Pamela served as a dedicated lunch lady in the Columbia Heights School District, where she touched the lives of many children and families.

Pam was an adventurous spirit who loved camping, fishing, collecting recipes, and shopping on TEMU. She had a special bond with her Countryside Campground family and friends, who will miss her contagious laughter and kind heart. Believing wholeheartedly in the existence of Big Foot, she brought a sense of fun and wonder to the legend.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Eleanor, and her in-laws, Morrie and Donna Small. She leaves behind her loving husband of 41 years, Ken; daughters, Chris (Allen) and Laura; son Jeff (Alyssa); and five cherished grandchildren, Abby (Theo), Chase, Mason, Jax, and Finley, who brought her immense joy.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Methven Funeral Home chapel in Sandstone, MN. Pam will be greatly missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.
