It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Pamela Asa Powers, beloved wife, devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She passed away at the age of 62 on July 16, 2024, surrounded by family.

She was born in St. Paul MN and lived there for many years raising her family, then continued her adventure through life in Pine City MN (and Pathfinder Village.) She was fun & funny, generous, compassionate, joyful, loving & lovable, spiritual, energetic, and a force of nature.

Pamela was preceded in death by her mother and father Athen and "Bee" Powers, and her stepson Matt.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Asa, and his children Misty, Mike, Mark, Thattaly, Julie, and Isaiah, her children Jess, Stephanie, and Andy, her sisters Sue (Richard) Gnetz and Linda Powers (Larry Daily), and her niece & nephew Leslie and Steve Gnetz. She is greatly missed by all, including countless wonderful friends and extended family members.

Pamela's gift to the organ donor organization LifeSource, benefited 50 or more recipients.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Pamela from 4:30 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the Methven Funeral Chapel in Sandstone, MN. Burial will take place following Pamela's celebration at the Hilltop Cemetery in Pine City, MN.
