We lost a beautiful soul on May 16, 2024. At just 46 years old, our dear Nicky Jo Townley passed away at Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on February 24, 1978, in St. Paul, to loving parents Art and Audrey Schroeder.

After graduating from Hinckley High School in 1997, she welcomed her son Brody in 1999 and married her partner in love and life, Justin Townley on April 29, 2000. Their family grew with the arrival of their daughter, MacKenzie, in 2002. Nicky cherished her role as a mother above all else.

Aside from her family, Nicky found joy in scrapbooking memories, crocheting, and creating crafts. She had a soft spot for animals and loved watching birds in her free time.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Dora Zeller and Alex and Ella Schroeder, and many aunts and uncles.

Nicky leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years, Justin Townley, her children Brody and MacKenzie, as well as her parents Art and Audrey Schroeder. She is also survived by her siblings; Nick (Kam) Schroeder, Kristal (Ryan) Zaudtke, and Kelly (Mark) Horbacz, along with her nieces and nephews; Archer, Honor, Anna, and Sofie, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Tatting Methven Chapel in Hinckley, Minnesota, from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
