Nathan John Gangl, age 31, of Askov, MN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

Nathan was born on October 10, 1990, in Burnsville, MN to Paul Gangl and Carolyn Joy Stelter. He grew up in the Askov area and decided to stay in the area throughout his life. Nathan attended East Central School and went on to work for Ultra Concrete as a laborer. He was a member of Laborers Union Local 563. Throughout his life, Nathan loved anything that had to do with a motor, he loved to take one that was broken and make it run smoothly again. Nathan enjoyed the outdoors also, depending on the season, he was either fishing or hunting. If Nathan wasn't snowmobiling in the winter, he was riding his side by side while finding the biggest mudding spot he could.

Nathan is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Gangl; paternal grandfather, Rich Gangl; and maternal grandmother, Jeanette Stelter.

Nathan is survived by his daughter, Karlie Jo Gangl of Kasson, MN; parents, Paul and Misi Gangl and Carolyn Stelter; sisters, Amber (Ryan) Koehler of Blaine, MN, Brittnee (Brian) Volk of Finlayson, MN; brother, Sean Gangl of Askov, MN; nieces, Kennadee and Torrin Volk, Brynn Koehler; grandmothers, Mary Meier, Lois Gangl, and grandfather, Jerome Stelter.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held for Nathan on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Methven Funeral Chapel in Sandstone, MN.
