Nancy Jean Lobdell Nelson of Mora, MN, died on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.  She was 72 years old.

Nancy was born in Mora, MN on September 19, 1950 to Norman and Lillian (Moline) Lobdell.  She was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Mora. She was raised on the family dairy farm and graduated from Mora High School.  After high school she worked at Boatel/Bluewater Yachts until she retired early.  Since then, she had been doing alterations for the last 17 years.  Hemming, zippers galore, resizing garments and even the occasional button.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, bead crafts and jig saw puzzles.

Nancy's favorite was watching her granddaughter Kinzie grow up.  She enjoyed watching Kinzie's figure skating performances and watched them repeatedly.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, sister, aunts and uncles.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Kristin Nelson, Granddaughter, Kinzie Nelson; brother, Gordon (Rita) Lobdell; other relatives and friends.

Memorials to GLC Radio are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora.  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
