Obituary

Nancy Alice Lingle Jacobson died in her home in Brunswick Township on June 22nd, 2025. She was in her 90th year.

Nancy was born in Moose Lake, Minnesota to James and Cecile Lingle.  She resided in Minnesota for her entire life, moving to the Mora/Ogilvie area in high school and spending the rest of her life in that part of the state. She married her husband (Allan) on June 30, 1953.  She is a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Brunswick, Mn.  She considered Immanuel her home and cared deeply for her bible study group.

Nancy worked at many different jobs in her life, but chiefly, she loved being a mother. Her mile-wide smile and contagious laugh were present at many family gatherings.  She claimed that her children's teen-age years were her favorite years.  Having a house full of young people filled her heart.

Nancy spent her time crocheting, gardening (especially growing flowers), watching birds at her feeders and reading.  Most of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren warm themselves under one of the beautiful afghans she designed and made.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband (Allan), daughter (Alice), parents (James and Cecile) and brothers (Donald and Ronald).

A loving mother to her children, she is survived by her son, James (Diane) Jacobson, her son-in- law, Gene Bradeen, and her daughters Sally (Steve) Campbell, Cindy (Mark) Broman, and Trisha Jacobson; her sister, Donna (Robert) Ritter.  She was a proud grandmother and is survived by her grandchildren Genea (Dave) Howe, Valoree (Doug) Smith, Jeff Jacobson, Cathi (Jason) Nehring, Amanda (Matt) Mullins, Josh (Leah) Jacobson, Addie Jo (Mark) Dahlquist, Natalie Campbell, Amy (Justus) Downey, Cassie (Chris) Winegar, Bjorn (Karin) Broman, and Gabe (Becca) Campbell.  Her 21 great-grandchildren also brought her much joy.  Nancy left behind many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Brunswick Immanuel Lutheran Church.  The visitation is scheduled for 10:00am and the funeral service for 11:00am with lunch to follow.
