Myrna M. Williamson, age 80 of Hinckley, passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her home in Hinckley, Minnesota.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church in Hinckley with Rev. Dan Brendsel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Myrna Marie Miller was born December 8, 1944 in Rush City, Minnesota to Christian and Violet (Jensen) Miller. She grew up in Beroun, Minnesota and graduated in 1962 from Pine City High School. It was in school where she met Leo Williamson. The couple married on January 26, 1963. They made their home in Hinckley where they raised their three children. Myrna worked throughout her life including at the Mora Medical Centre in Hinckley and later at Grand Casino Hinckley where she retired.

She was loving, compassionate, generous, meticulous (and stubborn) and had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Our Savior.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time out at the farm with family. Above all Myrna had a love for baking and sharing her goodies with her church, family and friends.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hinckley.

Survivors include her children, Bradley (Roberta Mills) Williamson of Mora, Jodi (Heber) Aquino of Kansas City, Missouri, and Demetria (Ed Menendez) Williamson of Santa Ana, Costa Rica; those that were lucky to love her as a grandma and great-grandma, Sara (Mark) Thompson, Justin (Cassandra) Williamson, Danielle Clayton, Lindsey Clayton, Derek Marihart, Ariana Aquino, Brandy (Jerramiah) Benner, Nora, Hazel, Brooks, Raya, Riley, Lily, Aubrey and Evelynn; brother, Jerome (Delphine) Miller; sisters, Linda (Pete Weissman) Schneider-Weissman, and Debra (Ed Rezendes) Miller; sister-in-law, Clara Miller; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Williamson on November 14, 1984; parents, Chris and Violet Miller; and her brothers and their wives, David (Delores) Miller and Michael (Phyllis) Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Presbyterian Church in Hinckley.
