Mildred "Millie" Magdaline (Walter) Raddatz, age 94, of Finlayson, Minnesota passed away peacefully on September 8, 2022, with her children by her side at her home.

Millie was born on June 13, 1928 to Matthew and Matilda (Klemish) Walter in Castlewood, South Dakota. She graduated from high school and moved to the Twin Cities. On June 18, 1949, Millie married Helmuth Raddatz. Together they raised their two children, moving to Finlayson in their later years. Millie loved doing needlework, traveling, and the theater. If you wanted to see Millie smile all you had to do was talk about her puppies, her children, and staying at the lake.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents, Matilda and Matthew; her loving husband of 59 years, Helmuth; brothers, Leo (LaVonne), Marvin (Ramona); sister, Marie (Dean); brothers-in-law, Paul (Donna), Dick; sisters-in-law, Larenda (Marvin) and Vernie (Bill).

Millie is survived by her best friends, Pat her daughter and Rick her son plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place for Millie at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 2 pm.
