Mesai Matthew "Zhingob" Nelson passed away on December 14, 2025 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.  He was 23 years old.

Services will be held at the Tatting Methven Funeral Chapel in Hinckley, Minnesota on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM, casket bearers will be Kaleemal-Aziz, Jabbaral-Aziz, Matthew Nelson, Davonte Spears, Abdirasaq Abdi, Abduikadir Ahmed, Darrick Williams, Santino "Tino" Dooley, John Robertson, and Keith Mattinas.  Burial will take place at a later date at the Nett Lake Cemetery in Nett Lake, Minnesota.
