Merton "Mert" Lincoln, 76, of Quamba, MN passed away on June 15 ^th , 2022 at Welia Health in Mora, MN.

Mert was born in Chicago, IL on February 23 ^rd , 1946, to Gilman Sr. and Virginia Lincoln. He lived in Madison, WI, from his late teens until his early 50's. Then Mert spent a few years in Denver, CO. In the early 90's Mert moved to Minnesota where he met his life partner, Cheryl and they made their home in Quamba, MN until the time he passed.

Mert was a jack of all trades, just like his father. Window washing, dump truck driving and Grand Casino Associate were just a few of the things he excelled at in his life. He enjoyed craft work, beading, making jewelry, thrift shopping, hunting, gambling on lottery tickets and beautiful women.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gilman Sr. and Virginia Lincoln; brothers Gilman Lincoln Jr., James "Bo" Lincoln; niece Carly Lincoln; along with first wife Patricia Verbsky.

Mert is survived by son Steven (Joni) Lincoln of Tomah, WI; siblings, Levi Lincoln Sr., of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Lois (Brad) Behrens of Black River Falls, WI, Lori (Les) Schmolke of Reedsburg, WI, Lily Lincoln of Tomah, WI, Lana (John) Papenfuhs of Hinckley, MN; his life partner, Cheryl Hokkanen; grandchildren Joshua, Stephanie, Steven, Virginia, Landon, Axle, Makayla, Maleejah, and Loki.

A memorial service will be held for Mert at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Tatting-Methven Funeral Home Chapel in Hinckley, MN, with Reverend Ivan Fisk officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will take place at Blue Wing Cemetery in Tomah, WI.
