McCoy Allen Grover, age 22, of Sandstone, MN, passed away unexpectedly on October 1st, 2025.  He was born on November 26th, 2002 in Moose Lake, MN, McCoy was the beloved son of Shanna Draves and JD Grover. McCoy attended East Central High School, graduating in 2021. He was proud of his recent position at Walmart in Pine City where he worked in the Electronics Department.

He will be remembered for his warmth, the humor and quick wit he brought and the love he gave so freely.  He loved music, gaming, anime, comedy and treasured every moment spent with family, friends and pets Nysha, Triton and Tobias.

McCoy is survived and will be deeply missed by his mother Shanna Draves (Stacy Heaton); father, JD Grover; and brother Jackson Grover.  He will be forever cherished and remembered by his grandparents Jon Gallimore, Geraldine Heil (Ken), and Connie Volk (Abdou) and Papa G; uncles Nick Gallimore, Tyler Gallimore (Naomi), Aubrey Draves, Dominick Draves, Cody Gardner, and Steve Volk; aunts Tiffani Draves and Tayler Draves (Mike).  His Godmother, Aimee Volk, also held a special place in his heart.  McCoy's memory will be cherished by   his many cousins and special friends.   His life was made brighter by the love and laughter of his best friends, Sereno Martinez and Darin Schauer.

He was preceded in death by his Aunt Angel Grover; great- grandparents Lloyd and Joyce Volk, Donna and Robert Heil; great-aunt DeLynn Heil and Aunt Julie Sullivan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Robinson Park Sandstone, MN on October 18th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00pm.
