Mathew Baker died on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his home in Mora.  He was 48 years old.

Mathew was born in Coon Rapids, Minnesota on April 17, 1974 to Edward and Eileen (Maenke) Baker.  He graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1992 and lived in the area until moving to Mora in 2016.

He was a Production Coordinator at Commercial Plastics in Mora for the last 7 years.  Matt was devoted to his animals, mainly his three horses.  He loved hunting, fishing.  Matt enjoyed working on anything that had wheels and riding his motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his mother Eileen Esther (Maenke) Baker on February 7, 2020 and his father Edward Lee Baker on January 21, 2010.

Matt is survived by his brother Anthony (Colette) Baker of East Bethel, MN, sister Annemarie (Kevin) Lindenfelser of East Bethel, MN, nieces and nephews; Nathaniel Jerome (Laura) Baker, Hannah Marie Baker, Christian Jared Baker, Clayton Jonah Baker, Viola Lynn Baker, Connor John Lindenfelser, and Kyle Eldred Lindenfelser, great nieces and nephews; Hughes Joseph Baker, Grace Johanna Baker and Jemma Joanne Baker.
