Heaven gained our angel.  On December 3 ^rd , 2021, Marvin Lee Sweeter, of Brook Park, passed away peacefully.

Known as Marv to most, was born to Hulda and Marvin Sweeter on September 9, 1956, in Shiawassee, Michigan.

Marv was in the Army for 7 ½ years.  He worked on helicopters while in the Army. When he left the Army, he went into roofing for years.  He also worked with horses, driving horses, cutting hooves, and caring for them.  He was a truck driver for the remainder of his life.

When he wasn't working, he was working on vehicles, hunting, working on the farm, and spending time with his family.  He loved time with his family, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.  The best thing all the grandchildren loved and will miss dearly is Paw Paw's bear hugs, beard, and his horned eyebrows.

Marv married Meladee Christianson on December 7 ^th , 1992.  They did trail rides together for years.  They have been together for 30 years.

Marv was also known as Donkey or the other word, Jackass.  The grandchildren always asked why he was called Donkey.  We would tell them he was stubborn.

He is survived by his wife Meladee, sister Linda, half-sister Heather, son Bryan and daughters; Amy, Tina, Delores, and Anna, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  His family was his world.

He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, sister Jeanie, brother Mike and daughter Mary.
