Mark Thomas McCollor, 75, passed away peacefully at his home off Mille Lacs Lake on April 28, 2026.
He is survived by his children, Dawn (Lee), Joe, Cari, Tim (Monica), and Katie (Mike); his grandchildren, Maria, Travis, Tyler, Emily, Lizzy, and Elsie; his great-grandchildren, Kailani, Braden, and Bella; and his siblings, Kevin, Danny (Cindy), Mary and sister-in-law Kristy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael; his mother, Barb; his brother, Mickey, and brother-in-law Patrick.
He was a US Army Veteran that served in the Vietnam War, where he earned a bronze star and two overseas medals. Mark was a proud member of the Minneapolis American Legion Post 1 with his daughter and granddaughters.
He was the proud owner of several bakeries, something he approached with genuine passion and dedication. His love for the craft was evident to all who knew him, and he took great pride in his work. Outside of his professional life, he found joy in the simple pleasures, casting a line on Mille Lacs, spending time hunting, tending to his garden, and embracing every opportunity to travel and explore new places.
A funeral service will be held on May 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Assembly Area #6, with a lunch to follow at the Roseville VFW, 1145 Woodhill Dr, Roseville, MN 55113.
