Marilyn Joyce Juhl (Ryan) was born May 04, 1949, in Milaca, Minnesota to Michael Joseph Ryan and Mildred Eve (Lehman) Ryan. She was the baby of the family and joined her sister MichElaine Rippentrop (Ryan). Marilyn met Howard John French Miels and married on June 05, 1965. Their son Vincent Wayne Miels was born in 1965. Their daughter Scody Lynn completed their family in 1969. They farmed in Mora Minnesota. Howard passed away July 02, 1981.
Marilyn fell in love again in 1983 and married Loren Juhl, having 3 more beautiful children, Crystal Juhl, Christopher Juhl, & Lee Juhl. While they may have divorced, they remained good friends.
Marilyn held many positions as she matured throughout this life, becoming a wife, mother, auctioneer, secretary, real estate agent, correctional officer, business owner, proud grandmother, great grandmother and a true lover of animals. She did not know a stranger and always lent a helping hand to those in need. She served actively at her church cooking, cleaning, volunteering, and assisting with funerals. Marilyn became a born-again Christian in 1972 and struggled as we all do to walk the path God sets before us. She has entered the heavenly realms met with the greatest hope one can pray for, to hear "well done thy good and faithful servant".
She is preceded in death by her parents Michael Joseph Ryan, Mildred Eve Lehman Ryan Plaisted; her husbands, Howard John French Miels, Loren Juhl; her beloved son Vincent Wayne Miels; her beloved nieces Becky Lee Rippentrop Jorgensen, Lori Dee Rippentrop Nohner as well as her beloved dog Molly.
She is survived by her sister MichElaine Rippentrop, children, Scody (Larry) McGill, Crystal (Dan) Hansen, Christopher (Cassie) Juhl and Lee (Sara) Juhl, her grandchildren, Mallissa ( Kenny) Fromm, Mason Miels, Monty Miels, Allen Oesterich, Esteighna (Travis) Bushey, Logan( Jamie) Oesterich, Qaiden Redmond, Chesney Redmond, Jade Hansen, Adriana Hansen, Aubrie Hansen, Grace Juhl, Lilly Juhl, Taylor Juhl, and Sterling Juhl, as well as many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
A memorial service will be held at Cross Church in Sandstone for Marilyn on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Darron officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.
