Marie Anne VanGorden, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 14, 1955, Marie lived a life filled with love, adventure, family, and compassion.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Tom; her cherished son, Chad; her adored daughter, Allie, her two grandchildren Jameson and Esther, and her beloved dog, Finn, who brought much joy to her days.

Marie was known for her boundless generosity, always prioritizing the well-being of her family and friends. She is known for her love of bees and gardening along with being an avid reader.  A lifelong dog-lover, and devoted grandmother, Marie never stopped learning and loving.

A celebration of Marie's life will be held on March 29th at Dresser-Methven from 2:00PM-4:00PM, where loved ones can come together to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ruff Start Rescue. Marie will be profoundly missed, but her love and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
