Lyle Wayne Elling passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the age of 91.

He was preceded in death by is son, Wayde.

He is survived by his wife Roberta "Bobbie", daughter Dawn, son Matthew, grandsons Ryan and Joseph, brother Merle(Gale) and many other extended family members and friends.

Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife and bird watching, target shooting, deer hunting and tinkering on cars and tractors. He also loved going south in the winter, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora MN on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:00AM officiated by Pastor Robert DeYoung. Military Honors provided by the Mora American Legion Post #201.  There will be a luncheon following the services at the Kanabec History Center in Mora, Minnesota.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, please consider helping us reach our goal of planting a forest of trees (or more!) in honor of Lyle. Donations will be accepted at the graveside service or may be sent to 532 6th Court NE, Cambridge MN 55008.
