Lorraine Joyce Gustafson of Sandstone, MN passed away at her home on Thursday, October 31, 2024. She was 80 years old.

Lorraine was born on January 12, 1944 to Victor and Vlasta (Chedora) Doboszenski in Moose Lake, MN. She had three brothers and three sisters, Victor, Jr. (Roseanne) Doboszenski, Gertrude (Larry) Youngberg, Frank Doboszenski, Pat (Jim) Wingstad, Barb (Jack) Porter, and Tom (Debbie) Doboszenski.

Lorraine married Melvin "Chuck" Gustafson and together they raised five boys, where there was never a dull moment to be had: Darwin (Julie) Larson, Victor Larson, Todd (Missi) Larson, Charlie (Rachel Hansen) Gustafson, Art Gustafson, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Lorraine was a homemaker, seamstress, daycare provider, and many more things to so many people. She enjoyed doing puzzles and never turned down a board game or a game of cards.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; parents, Victor and Vlasta; sisters, Gert and Barb; brother, Frank, sisters-in-law, Roseanne and Debbie; and great granddaughter, Harper.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held for Lorraine on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm, with a time of sharing at 2:30pm at the Methven Funeral Home Chapel in Sandstone, MN. Burial will take place at Spring Park Cemetery following the gathering.
