Linda May Cegelske died on Monday, July 3, 2023 at her home. She was 65 years old.

Linda was born on May 1, 1958 in Clarion, Iowa to Gordon and Dorothy (Bjorklund) Smith. She lived most of her life in Iowa, but also lived in Missouri, Tennessee, and Nebraska before moving to Minnesota. She graduated from high school at CAL and then from nursing school at NIACC. She worked as an LPN and enjoyed crocheting, diamond painting, coloring, gardening, and sewing. On February 28, 2004 she was united in marriage to Arlen Cegelske in Fairmont, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Gordon, as well as her brother-in-law Darwin Hanna.

Linda is survived by her husband, Arlen; her son Tyler Stricker (Brett) of Des Moines; her stepson, Zach Cegelske (Kate); her daughters Lacey Howard (Ray) of Maine, Joan Rosendahl (Michael) of Isle, Brittany Butler (Jacob) of Lawton, OK, Stephanie Gourley of Lawton, OK; her stepdaughter, Emily Westphal; her sisters, Ardith Shelman (Carl), Doreen Dodd (Ken), Karen Hanna, Rose Brown (Bill), Carol Plagge (Troy); her brothers, Vincent Smith (Sandy), Lowell Smith (Kathy), Roy Smith (Angela); and fourteen grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.

A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora.  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M.
