Linda "Awanookwe" Applegate of Ford Township passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 28, 2025. She was 57 years old.

Linda was born on November 16, 1967 to Allen Applegate and Ramona (Shingobe) Applegate in Princeton, MN. She grew up in the area, enjoying all the natural wonders of the world. Linda loved to watch and learn about all the different species of birds that she observed. Plants and flowers were another love of Linda's, she was always looking for new ones to share with the people around her.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ramona and her brother, Timothy Applegate. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Warren and Randy Stoltz; her siblings, Jacqueline Applegate McRae, Kelly Applegate, and Jerry Applegate.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Isle Chiminising Community Center with, Baabiitaw officiating. Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at dusk also at the center. Casketbearers are Randy Stoltz, Kelly Applegate, Jerry Applegate, Jeff Warren, and Joseph Brinkley..
