Leslie Paul Weidendorf died on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his home in Brook Park.  He was 55 years old.

Leslie was born in Mora, MN on June 15, 1967 to Dean and Suzanne (Oquist) Weidendorf.   He has lived in Brook Park since 1989 and currently worked at BP in Braham.

He graduated from Braham, MN in 1985 and right after he enlisted in the U.S. Marines, serving for two years. After the military he worked various jobs.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood burning nature pictures, and being outdoors.

Leslie is preceded in death by grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Weidendorf; father, Dean Weidendorf; daughter, Rachael Carlson (Derek); son, Nathan Weidendorf (Alyssa); five grandchildren; sister, Rose Krie (Jeff); brothers, Andrew Weidendorf and Gene Weidendorf as well as nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service for Leslie Weidendorf will be held Friday June 23, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Mora Library Park picnic shelter. The library basement will be used in the event of inclement weather.  A short service including Honors provided by the American Legion, Post #201 at 4:00PM will be followed by a chance to share memories and food.
