It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Jean Reiling, who left us on December 5, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on January 28, 1959, in St. Paul, MN, Leslie spent her early years in Shoreview before her family moved to Stacy, where she graduated from Forest Lake High School.

After graduation Leslie's journey took her to various group homes, where she found community and purpose. She moved first to Clara Doer in Minneapolis, then to a group home in Duluth. For the last four years of her life, she made her home at the Sandstone Health Center. Leslie held various jobs through her group homes, especially the job of sorting coupons and engaged in activities that brought her joy.

Leslie was an artist at heart, with a special love for beadwork. She could often be found crafting beautiful bracelets and necklaces for friends and family, pouring her creativity and affection into each piece. Her collection of stuffed animals was a testament to her playful spirit, boasting over 100 furry friends at one time!

Leslie is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Carolee Reiling, brother-in-law Darton Podlewski, nephew Cody Podlewski, and cherished grandparents Len and Elsie Reiling, Joseph and Jennette Reiter.

Leslie leaves behind her father, Thomas Reiling of Askov, MN; her sister Ronnel Podlewski of Askov; her brother Tom (Gigi) Reiling of Missouri; nephew Orion (Doris) Podlewski of Askov; and niece Sierra Stone (Zack Hayes) of Sturgeon Lake, MN.

At this time, no formal services are being planned, but those who knew and loved Leslie are encouraged to keep her memory alive in their hearts through the beautiful creations she shared and the kindness she bestowed upon all she met.
