Katie May McDowell of Sandstone, MN, formerly of Cottage Grove, MN, passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 45, from Covid-19 pneumonia on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Essentia Health in Sandstone.
Katie is preceded in death by (father) David, (mother) Rhonda. Katie is survived by her loving husband Glenn; (son) Jesse, (daughter) Madeline; (grandchild) Sullivan; (cat) Bruser; (sister) Missy, (niece) Kenzie, (nephew) Liam, (niece) Harper; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Katie's life will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Methven Funeral Home chapel, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for financial support for Katie's funeral expenses.
