Obituary

Kameron Lee Ellis was born on October 18, 1961, in Iowa to Rodney and Norma Ellis.  Kameron has been a long-time resident of Cloverdale and graduated from Hinckley High School in 1980.

In 1981, Kameron married Patricia Field.  In time, they would add three children to their family.  During the home-schooling years, he played Dad, teacher, and principal.  The kids spent many hours in Dad's shop learning, using his tools, or just separating the nuts and bolts out of five gallon buckets.  Kameron became a foster parent, opening his home and heart to over 30 kids.  In 2020, Kameron got permanent custody of his bonus daughter.

Kameron was an active servant in his community and church. He accepted Jesus while on a fishing trip and was later baptized.  Kameron put Christ at the center of his life.  He loved to set the radio in every car to a Christian radio station when they left his shop.

Kameron was a loving husband, dad, pappap, teacher, provider, leader, servant and friend.  He blessed others with his gentleness, kindness, love, care, hard work, resilience, strength, knowledge, loyalty, humor and bravery.

Kameron completed his mission for God and was called to Heaven on July 2, 2025.

Kameron leaves behind to mourn his wife, Patty.  His daughter, Shelby (Raul).  His sons, Zayne (Annika) and Austin (Mari Beth).  His bonus daughter, Tiffany.  His grandchildren, Odyssey, Eden, Solomon, and Selah.  His mother, two brothers, sister, and many other family and friends.  Kameron is proceeded in death by his father.

Kameron's family invites you to Faith Baptist Church in Hinckley on Friday July 11th, 2025, at 11:00 am to celebrate Kameron's eternal life in Heaven and remember the time we had with him on Earth.  Pastor Reed Owens will officiate.
