Joyce Lynn Hansen of North Branch, MN passed away after fighting a courageous battle against cancer on May 22, 2024 at her daughter's home. She was 67 years old.

Born on August 27, 1956, to Merle and Norma Wood in Superior, WI. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1974 and spent most of her career as a supervisor in the food industry. Joyce married the love of her life, Gary Hansen, and they shared 48 beautiful years together.

Joyce adored spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, fishing, and escaping to the cabin. Her passing on May 22, 2024, leaves behind her loving husband, Gary, children Johannah (Jeff) Buechner, Katie (Derrick) Roderick, Jeff Hansen (Lisa), six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Gary, Bill, Tim, Jim, and sisters, Patty and Nancy.

Joyce will be remembered during a Celebration of Life on June 22, 2024, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Askov Community Center. At 1:30 pm, per Joyce's wishes, a special prayer time will be held to honor her memory. There will be a private burial at a later date.
