Jerrold Ray Roeschlein was born on June 5, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Clifford and Daisy (Jenkins) Roeschlein.

Jerry graduated from Isle High School, where he was known to cause mischief with a few friends.

On July 3, 1976, after having only known one another for six weeks, Jerry married Karen Jensen and spent the next 48 years loving her unconditionally, wholly and completely. Jerry and Karen were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Sara and Mary. Both girls married men with values similar to Jerry, godly and hard-working. These two unions produced 8 grandchildren and a whole lot of fun!

Jerry enjoyed the simple things in life reading, playing cards & board games, hunting & fishing, and farming & gardening all with his family. Jerry's frustrated growls will forever echo in our minds whenever we play Ticket to Ride. Agh!

Jerry never left "I love you" unsaid. He was tender-hearted, kind, and loved his family deeply. While Jerry didn't make grand gestures of faith, his love for the Lord was evident in his daily living. He taught his children and grandchildren to know and love the Lord, and he faithfully prayed for those in his life, and served his Savior with gladness.

Jerry went home to be with Jesus on October 23, 2024, with his family surrounding him with the same strength and love he always gave.

Jerry is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Sara (Mike) Dangers, daughter Mary (Caleb) Morgan, grandchildren Emma, Jacob, Cole, Libby, Simon, Madeline, Hannah, and Maxwell, sisters Patsy Beckstrom and Lori (Denny) Mickelson, brother-in-law Bob (Debbie) Jensen, brother-in-law Steve (Gail) Jensen, and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Cliff and Daisy, sister Sharon, niece Marla, and many good friends.

Jerry has finished the race with perseverance, and is now in heaven with his Savior.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Isle with Rev. Mark Maunula officiating.  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. at the church.  Military honors are being provided by the Isle Honor Guard.
