Jennette Marie Alleman, age 81, of Finlayson, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026. She was lovingly known as Jenny to family and friends.

Jenny was born on July 10, 1944, in Oakland, California, to Bernice "Bunny" and Cornelius "Corky" Renich. Due to her father's work in construction, she lived in many places during her childhood including Shelton, WA before settling in Minnesota. She graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul at the top of her class in 1962.

On May 14, 1966, Jenny married Richard "Dick" Alleman on a rainy day at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rosemount, Minnesota, beginning a partnership that spanned nearly six decades. Together, they started the family farm, Pine River Dairy, where she and Dick grew and ran a successful dairy farm from 1968 to 1998. They then retired to Dick's Century Farm, where they designed and built their final home.

Jenny dedicated much of her life to serving her community through both her work and volunteer service. She was a secretary at REA (now East Central Electric) and served as Clerk and Treasurer for both Pine Lake and Wagner Townships, serving over 25 years for Pine Lake Township. Over the years, she held a variety of trusted administrative and financial roles, including secretary for the Sandstone Hospital optometrist, work with the East Central School District Alternative Learning Center, accountant for Jonie's Accounting and Kunze Income Tax Service, and bookkeeper for Arlen Krantz Ford and the Grand Casino. She was actively involved in her community as a member of the School Board and a First Responder, and she also served Peace Lutheran Church as its secretary and as president of the Sunday School, reflecting her deep sense of responsibility, faith, and service to others.

In her free time, Jenny enjoyed sewing and knitting, caring for her cats, and feeding the birds she loved to watch from home. She delighted in cards and games, bowling, polka dancing, outdoor activities, and especially family gatherings. Above all, she adored being a grandmother, finding great joy in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandson.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Cornelius Renich; stepmother Lillian Renich; her son, Christopher John Alleman; her brother, Jerry Renich; sisters-in-law Ida Renich and Lisa Renich; brother-in-law, Johnny Alleman; and nephews, Cole Alleman and Tom Koski.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Alleman; her sons, Carl (Lana) Alleman and Chuck (Mary) Alleman; her grandchildren, Jeff (Nicole), Hailey, Dylan, Lauren, Skylar, and Cami; great-grandson, Thomas; as well as many sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held to honor Jenny at 11am on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church in Finlayson, MN with Pastor Konkel officiating. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the church and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial and lunch to follow the service.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Boca Haven and the St. Croix Hospice care team for their compassionate care and support.
