Jeffrey Elwyn Leathers died on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  He was 66 years old.

Jeffrey was born on November 1, 1956 to Elwyn and Pauline (O'Neil) Leathers in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He grew up in the Anoka area and graduated from high school there.  He lived a short time in Millersberg, Iowa before settling in Mora with his wife Beverly Jo.

He worked as a machine operator for most of his life.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  But mostly he loved getting together with the grandkids and living at the lake.

He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Jo Leathers, his parents, Elwyn and Polly, his brother Jim, and sister Sandy, his father-in-law, Floyd Butler and mother-in-law, Pete Butler.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughter Christine Lauretta of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, his grandsons, Devon and Deon Gray, and his sisters; Lynn, Deb and Nancy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dresser Methven Chapel in Mora, Minnesota on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2:00PM-4:00PM.
