It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jayne F. Hudson, 67, from Finlayson MN. On Sunday, October 20, 2024, she passed away peacefully at the Sandstone Health Care Center.

Jayne was born on May 3, 1957, to Donald and Florence (Frank) Roufs in Mora, MN. She graduated from Finlayson High School and pursued her education at the Minnesota School of Business. While working as an executive assistant, Jayne's adventures led her to call many places home from Edina, MN, to Phoenix, AZ, Ellijay, GA, and Hinckley, MN before returning to Finlayson for her final chapter.

She found joy in her membership in the Order of the Eastern Star club and was passionate about her hobbies, which included flower gardening, canning, baking, entertaining, caring for her pets, fishing, and beekeeping.

Jayne was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Florence, and her daughter, Janet Roufs. She is survived by her life partner, Larry Lucht; her daughter, Bridget (Rob) Marble; her cherished grandchildren, Sabrina, Sofia, Elizabeth, and Jett; her siblings, Donna Swanson, Barbara Woody, and Ron Roufs.

A memorial service will be held for Jayne at 1pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Finlayson United Methodist Church, with Pastor Roland Henkel officiating. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service. A lite luncheon will be served following the service.
