Jay Garth Savage died on June 29, 2024.  He was 63 years old.

Jay was born on August 21, 1960 in New Ulm, MN.  He grew up in Maplewood and moved to Mora when he was 18 where he had resided since.

He worked as a meat cutter and was part of the local 663 union.  He loved to hunt, fish and trap whenever he could.  He loved his family and friends.

Jay is preceded in death by his father Skip L. Savage.

He is survived by his mother, Marvo Savage; his daughter, Jana (Cody) Garmaker; his brothers, Eric (Pat) and Kirk Savage; his grandsons, Parker and Michael Garmaker and Kathryn Westerhouse; his nephews, Zach and Jacob Savage; his nieces, Courtney (Jacob) Archambeau and Katie Savage as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora.  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M.
