James Scholten, of Hinckley, Minnesota, passed away on February 15, 2023, in Duluth, Minnesota.  He was 56 years old.

James was born in South St. Paul on July 14, 1966, to Gerald and Kathleen (Carroll) Scholten.  He grew up in South St. Paul and later moved to the Hinckley area.  He worked at Cassidy's in Hinckley.  On August 20, 2016, he married Jennifer Pfiefer and they made their home in Hinckley.

He was a great friend to all who knew him. He loved his children with his whole heart.  He will be loved and missed forever.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Emily Scholten.

James is survived by his wife, Jennifer Scholten, their son JncoJames, his children,  Justin (Bailey Larson), April Lasker, Vivian Senjern, Allen Elaina Julian, and Jack Adelman, his parents, Jerry (Sue) Scholten, Kathy Himli, brothers,  John Scholten, Chris Schenian, sister Heather Schenian and Corey Schenian, niece, SamiJo and Children and Brandon Schenian, and many, many friends from everywhere, father in law, Don Pfeifer (Cindy), mother in law, Raylene Schaefer, sister in law, Tricia Christianson (Eric), seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was a great husband and will be forever loved and forever missed.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the Hinckley Community Center, 102 Dunn Ave N in Hinckley, MN on Friday March 3rd from 2 to 8P.M.
